Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Financial Patrols in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and supporting a welcoming environment. This armed position requires you to remain alert and responsive, upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first, while embracing innovation and reliability in all your security-related responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of surroundings.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff regarding security-related matters and site protocols.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience, or possess a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
