GCP AI Architect/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and execution-driven GCP AI Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role demands deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Vertex AI and Agentspace, with a strong bias toward action and hands-on development.

• Architect and build scalable AI systems using Vertex AI and Agentspace frameworks.
• Design and deploy agent-based AI workflows for enterprise-grade applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production environments.
• Ensure cloud security and compliance across GCP services.
• Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of AI pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives.

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data architecture, or cloud solutions.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, especially Vertex AI.
• Must have experience with Agentspace
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, or similar ML libraries.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker, and GCP-native tools.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Candidates who do not have Vertex AI experience will not be considered.
• Strong communication skills must be able to describe and explain complex AI/ML, GenAI concepts and models to business leaders.
• Strong knowledge of different machine learning algorithms.
• Experience in Generative AI and autonomous agent systems.
• Knowledge of cloud security protocols across GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution. 
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus. 
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
