(Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

You will be part of the Legal & Risk Department and perform a range of duties including negotiating customer, partner and vendor agreements, evaluating current and new compliance regulations, reviewing and drafting processes and supporting privacy matters. You are an excellent communicator and have experience within the cloud / IT industry, with an eye both for details but also understand the needs of a fast-moving scale-up? Your mission

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, partner and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate and implement overarching company projects with legal and/or compliance relevance.
• Evaluate our business processes, identify potential risks relevant to legal requirements and develop appropriate, preventive measures.
• Educate your co-workers, including through conducting regular Legal, compliance and/or privacy trainings for our employees.
• Continuously develop compliance as a business topic, create relevant specifications and documentation and optimize existing processes, concepts, guidelines and policies.
• Collaborate with and support our privacy officer and the Information Security Team, especially relative to regular reports and audits.

Your profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a fully qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt/-anwältin).
• Significant experience either in-house or in private practice advising cloud service providers.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
• Structured and result- as well as practice-oriented way of working.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection issues in the cloud industry.
• General understanding of public sector requirements in the context of the IT industry.
• Confident appearance and a high degree of independence.
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
