This role offers an opportunity to touch all the aspects of warehousing and to make a big impact in a team with ambitious goals, a start-up attitude, and a strong desire to promote Puratos’ innovative solutions in Health & Wellbeing and Sustainability.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

The remit of the role is to support the Supply Chain Manager and Sales Team to achieve growth in the Puratos Strategic Business Units (Bakery, Patisserie & Chocolate).

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager and working closely with the Business Development team, you’ll be involved in coordinating activities across all pillars:

 

1. Warehouse

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. Receiving and processing warehouse stock products.
• Managing inventory, monitor and report close to date BB stock and overstock. Working with ‘Supply Chain Manager’ to ensure optimum stock levels.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee the booking of general maintenance when necessary.
• Manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues. Supervising & training new warehouse staff.

 

1. Supply Chain

• Co-ordinating with Supply Chain & CS on shipments and deliveries. Work with ‘Supply Chain Manager’ to optimize local/ international deliveries.
• Meeting regularly & reporting directly to Supply Chain Manager. Analyze, develop, and implement new procedures to improve warehouse productivity.

• You have previous work experience in Supply chain & Warehouse with excellent communication skills, ideally in a food-related environment.
• Openness to overtime and flexibility in working hours.
• You are fluent in English.
• You have the ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
