Position Overview

 

This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of office/ field support functions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

 

  • Large heavy fleet registration, title & MSO work.
  • Fleet IRP Registration requirements familiar with Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado & New Mexico.
  • Working with insurance companies / claims etc.
  • Small fleet registration, inspection, etc.
  • IFTA fuel tax knowledge.
  • Vendor Insurance certificate requirements.
  • Fleet Motor Carrier Bi-Annual Updates.
  • Maintain and acquire special fleet permits.
  • Basic Filing skills.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations & compliance for heavy fleets.
  • Assistance managing fleets. 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write clearly and effectively.   

 

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instruction.
  • Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.

 

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have (or be able to quickly gain) knowledge of Internet software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other company related programs.

Work Environment

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
