What you need to know about the role:

As a Senior Salesforce Developer you will design, build, and implement Standard and Custom applications on the Salesforce platform utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities and custom coding capabilities (Apex, Lightning Web & Aura Components, Community, Experience, Site, Portal, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), AmpScript ) when necessary. You should be able to work and lead junior team members in a team environment, utilizing DevSecOps processes and tools.

• Contribute to innovative ideas and solutions in the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and align with company objectives employing configuration, development and integration skills. 

• Utilize domain knowledge in Sales, Service, and Community Clouds for effective application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging within the Salesforce CRM platform. 

• Proficient in Apex, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools. 

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model. 

• Provide ongoing business support to users of the CRM platform, ensuring optimal performance and functionality that aligns with organizational needs. 

• Adhere to Salesforce limitations, performance standards, and best practices to ensure the robust and efficient operation of the platform. 

 

 

Your day to day: 

• Requirement analysis: Collaborate with product manager, and other stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, and transform them into technical solutions. 

• Design and development: Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or other Salesforce development tools and technologies. This includes creating custom objects, fields, triggers, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce components. Contribute to Design and Code Review activities. 

• Integration: Integrate Salesforce applications with external systems using APIs, web services, or other integration methods to ensure seamless data exchange between systems. 

• Data migration and management: Migrate, manipulate, and manage data within Salesforce using tools like Data Loader, Import Wizard, or custom scripts to ensure data accuracy and integrity. 

• Testing and quality assurance: Perform unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing to ensure developed applications meet requirements and function correctly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any identified issues. 

• Deployment and release management: Use deployment tools and methodologies to deploy Salesforce applications from development to production environments, following best practices for version control, change management, and release management. 

• Performance optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications, addressing issues like performance bottlenecks, long-running queries, or inefficient code. 

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and release notes, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for users and other team members. 

• Troubleshooting and support: Provide ongoing support for Salesforce applications, addressing user issues, resolving bugs, and implementing enhancements as needed. 

• Continuous learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, technologies, and best practices to ensure developed applications leverage the platform's full capabilities and adhere to industry standards.
