THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST POSITION Sunnova is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to provide transformational analytical support for Sunnova’s Direct Sales and Install departments. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with a team of driven professionals to assist in operational tracking, data analysis and insight, and helping shape initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. The preferred candidate will have significant experience in sales to activation journeys of residential solar customers. The candidate will have a strong command of PV, storage and adaptive home technologies and a demonstrated ability to lead teams in the technical specification and evaluation operation of these systems. SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES •                Based on analysis and insights, make recommendations to drive continual improvement of efficiency, revenue drivers and customer satisfaction.•                Using data and insights, make recommendations for changes to support and help drive critical business decisions and initiatives.•                Prepares analysis and reporting for key activities and projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.•                Helps drive quarterly and annual installation & Inservice goals; insures performance toward the goals.•                Support aspects of the customer journey from contract execution to system activation - real time customer engagement, education, troubleshooting, triage, and proactive communication.•                Maintain and track adequate metrics to ensure levels of performance are known and improved upon.•                Compiles a weekly executive summary and key performance indicator reports.•                Collaborates with multiple departments to improve current processes that affect Customer Operations•                Supports the development, documentation, and implementation of new policies & procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS •                Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Operations, Financial and/or Business Analysis•                3+ years of experience in solar PV, storage adaptive home technology sales, operations, design, and / or customer care. •                Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.•                Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the use of lookups and pivot tables•                Intermediate to advanced SQL comprehension and querying required.•                Familiarity with data analytical platforms (Relevant, PowerBI, Tableau, etc..)   Preferred Qualifications •                Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge of project management practices and methodologies preferred•                Experience with programming languages (Python or R) for data manipulation and analysis preferred, but not required•                Experience creating dashboards and using analytics to measure business processes•                Experience in Salesforce Additional knowledge, skills and abilities •                Strong analytical skills complementing a desire to understand the “why” behind the numbers.•                A sound understanding of how to use and interpret data in problem solving, performance improvement and strategic planning.•                Desire to extend a culture of accountability, professionalism, and care. Physical requirements •                Extended period of time working at a computer workstation Benefits Sunnova offers a generous employee reward package that includes:•                Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, healthcare flexible spending account, and 401(k) with employer match.•                Competitive compensation & annual bonus•                Paid time off, including 11 holidays and Paid Parental Leave LOCATION:  Houston, TX
