This role will be hybrid based in our New York City office. 

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Consumer (International Member Growth and Experience, and Editorial) BizOps team to lead strategic work-streams to boost our international member growth, enhance international member experience, and create global editorial growth strategies. This role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with solid business experience backed by both intuition and data.  

You will be working closely with leaders across the R&D and Go-to-Market teams (both regional and global leaders) within the Growth, Flagship, and Editorial organizations, whose main objective is to grow our member base and create a global knowledge marketplace for professionals with equitable access to ideas, insights and inspirations to unlock a world of opportunity for all.   

Note: This role is predominantly a product BizOps role with a 80-20 split between product and GTM work. 

Responsibilities:       

  • Leading work-streams to solve the most important R&D and GTM strategy and business questions relevant to International Member Growth and Engagement  
  • Supporting work-streams for the Editorial team (based in New York), supporting their most critical strategic questions and measuring the impact and success of key strategies  

  • Driving data-driven analysis, sizing strategic opportunities, prioritizing projects   

  • Identifying growth and operational leverage opportunities, building the business case for change, and working extensively with multiple stakeholders (both within global business operations teams as well relevant leaders) to implement these opportunities  

  • Providing thought partnership to regional leaders and business partner teams in NAMER, APAC, EMEA and LATAM on growth, operations, and organization topics  

  • Coaching team members, extending a collaborative team culture, and supporting team members’ development goals  

  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)      

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:       

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline, or relevant work experience    

  • 4+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills     

  • 3+ experience with SQL, Excel, data set manipulation and visualization, and presentation       

  Preferred Qualifications:       

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company       

  • Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations       

  • High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business       

  • Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models.       

  • Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
