This position participates in the update of NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) and NCCN Guidelines®-related initiatives and projects.

Requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the development and/or publication of NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Perform literature searches and prepare the Guideline Discussion sections for web publication
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and update NCCN Guidelines-related initiatives, including globally adapted Guideline versions
  • Provide clinical content expertise for development and review of clinical content for NCCN educational programs 
  • Review NCCN Guidelines content by external entities for clinical accuracy
  • Assist as needed with the NCCN Guidelines content integration into digitized systems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in scientific/medical writing and/or publishing of scientific articles required
  • Experience in oncology preferred 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to formulate scientific/medical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external personnel at various levels
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products
