Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a smooth, high-quality service. You must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Ensure food presentation is consistent with restaurant standards before serving.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including clearing empty dishes and ensuring utensils are ready for the next round.
• Assist with restocking supplies as needed during shifts.
• Monitor guests’ needs and provide assistance to servers when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and special dietary requirements, to answer guests’ questions or direct them to appropriate staff.
• Ensure a clean and organized environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume or luxury setting 
• Experience working in high-end hotel outlets environment strongly preferred 
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays 
• Ability to take ownership of issues 
• Ability to embody and impart the Loren’s unique culture to all associates 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance 

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school or equivalent education required.
