As a Senior Systems Engineer in Cardiac Ablation Solutions, you will refine your systems engineering skills to conduct interface testing, both within the system and during commercial support, as well as integrating the system into Electrophysiology cath lab hospital environments.
The Cardiac Ablation Solutions Unit develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
Participate on cross-functional development teams in the creation of integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents.
Develop expertise in the application of systems engineering principles and identify opportunities for applying systems engineering within work assigned to the team.
Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education in technical questions.
Propose and implement changes to improve systems and/or processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
OR Master’s with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
OR PhD with 0 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and comfort in the hospital environment
Experience in Systems Engineering including defining systems architecture within medical device product development
Experience with the application of Design Controls for medical devices
Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross-functionally
