Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Physician Care NorthwestPosition: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant CMA to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
This position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, M-F.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Medical specialties: Pediatrics Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday
License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred), Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Perform vitals
• Administer immunizations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced Medical Assistant to perform clinical back-office duties including, but not limited to: patient intake for electronic medical record, triage, injections, chronic care management and medication refills as appropriate.
• Prefer previous electronic health record experience and be proficient in navigating, typing, medical terminology and medications.
