About the Role:

Data Engineer Intern  

 The Team:  The selected candidate will be part of the S&P Global Technology’s Cloud & Infrastructure team and thereby provide support in the design, development of automations and software programs enabling the adoption of DTS multi-cloud  service offerings.  

Responsibilities and Impact:  

• Work with cross-functional teams and business divisions to identify opportunities for data consolidation and transformation solutions that meet the needs of the business.  
• Assist in the development of data ingestion, analytics, and reporting focused on financial and operational data.  
• Leverage modern tools and platforms to create models of the data.  

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.   

This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.   

 What We’re Looking For:  

 Basic Required Qualifications:  

• Fully matriculated undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027   
• Knowledge of development using one or more of the following languages: Puppet, Ansible, JavaScript, Python PowerShell or Bash  
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate within a team environment.  
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products  
• Knowledge of database concepts  

Additional Preferred Qualifications:  

• Knowledge of one or more Cloud Service Providers
