JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State's Office of Physical Plant is looking for our next Facilities Designer (Mechanical)! The purpose of this position is to provide professional mechanical/HVAC and plumbing engineering design services in support of Penn State facilities projects. Services to be provided include all mechanical engineering efforts from conceptual and feasibility stages through construction drawing stage and into construction administration.

The successful candidate will collaborate and coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers in various disciplines to achieve the desired results. This position manages single discipline projects of small or moderate size and scope and is responsible for assuring quality, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of assigned projects. The position also plans and pe
