Commercial Financial Analyst

We are hiring a Commercial Financial Analyst who will be a key part of the Commercial Finance team for the Global Dairy business. Main responsibilities as a Financial Analyst will focus on sales reporting and variance analysis. Responsibilities include: 

 

• Analyze profitability to determine impact caused by volume, selling prices, material costs and/or production costs.
• Compare actual results against business plan, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare and distributes variance analysis to business management.
• Assist in projections, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on customers and products.
• Responsible for preparing weekly sales reports.
• Assist in preparation of monthly accounts packs.
• Coordinate with various departments and functions to assist with data analysis and decision support.
• Responsible for process improvement and standardization in assigned area.
• Assist with product pricing and product costing analysis.
• Manage and report on customer rebate spend.

 

  

 The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
• 0-4 years of experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivots)
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

 

Where and how you will work  

The Commercial Financial Analyst will provide support for multiple functions and stakeholders across the company.  The opportunity will be based in Chicago, IL or Madison, WI with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model.
