We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer-Geotechnical, to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga.
Responsibilities:
- Project scoping, pricing, and proposal preparation
- Performing and managing geotechnical and/or geological engineering field investigations and numerical analyses including drilling, instrumentation, and construction quality assurance
- Oversee team providing remote sensing, subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, numerical modeling, instrument tasks; for risk assessments, site characterization, design, construction-phase observation and testing, and forensic phases
- Preparing and coordinating the integration of design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, construction cost estimates, reports, and permit applications
- Help manage projects successfully to achieve goals for technical quality, budget control, schedule compliance, client satisfaction, and profitability
- Communication of findings and recommendations, including technical report preparation and client discussions
- Staff management and mentoring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering or related degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Current California P.E. registration (California G.E. preferred)
- 7 plus years of relevant experience in a consulting setting
- An outstanding track record for client management, business development, and technical leadership
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER
