BEVERAGE SERVER I

What would I be doing?

The Beverage Server I will serve beverages to guests in a quick, efficient and courteous manner; perform side work to maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in assigned work areas.

Responsibilities

• The Beverage Server I is responsible for familiarization of cocktails and prices in order to insure proper ordering and expedition of beverage orders.
• Suggest and upsell cocktails.
• The Beverage Server I will observe and anticipate guest’s needs in order to fill any additional requests or needs.
• Serve tables in proper order of arrival with exceptions in common sense situations or as ordered by your supervisor
• The Beverage Server I will inform immediate supervisor if a critical supply or service situation should arise.
• Responsible for side work assigned and any additional assigned daily tasks.
• The Beverage Server I will practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• The Beverage Server I will conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
• Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
• The Beverage Server I will keep assigned workstation clean
• Responsible for following the calling order when ordering cocktails

 

What are we looking for?

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) 

• Follow all cash handling procedures as listed in the Food & Beverage Manual.
• Able to communicate sufficiently with team members and supervisors.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to successfully complete a TIPS (responsible service of alcohol), RU21 training class and required compliance courses.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

• Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
• Must successfully pass background check
• Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
• Must be 21 years of age

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE REQUIREMENT

• Delivers superior internal and external guest service in Boyd Style.
