We are hiring for PRN Registered Nurses! Our floor nurses will assess patients' health status, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding. Floor nurses collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, managing patient records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery. Additionally, floor nurses educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and recovery strategies while advocating for patient well-being and comfort throughout their stay. 

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct patient care and perform head to toe assessment on all patients in accordance with the nurse practice act
• Collect and accurately document comprehensive data pertinent to patient's health and wellness
• Identifies physical symptoms and changes and takes appropriate action in a timely manner
• Evaluates patient outcomes and analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or other issues
• Develops personalized care plan for each patient and revises plan as neccessary
• Educates patient and family on plan of care, privacy and confidentiality
• Identifies communication and cultural needs of the patient and utilizes resources to ensure appropriate delivery of patient care
• Promotes a safe patient environment by identifying at risk patient i.e. implementing fall precautions

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Current RN TX or Multistate License
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care facility preferred
• Telemetry and/or critical care knowledge preferred.
