As a Wind Technician you will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a Wind Turbine.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on renewable energy equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Assist in facility upkeep including basic painting and general maintenance tasks.
• Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and system reliability.

Schedule:

• 8-10      hour shift
• Monday      to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend      availability

Requirements

  

Education:

• High      school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical      knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical:      1 year (Preferred)
• SGRE Tech 2, 3, and 9

License/Certification:

• Driver's      License (Required)

Qualifications:

• Solid      foundation in superior safety and quality procedures
• 1 year      minimum of mechanical experience
• 1 year      minimum of electrical experience
• General      knowledge of hand and power tools and use of tools
• Good      problem-solving skills
• Minimum      High School Diploma or GED
• Valid      Driver’s License and clean driving record
