Help bring the next generation of life-changing medical technology to patients worldwide. Together, we can change healthcare worldwide. At Medtronic, we push the limits of what technology can do to help alleviate pain, restore health and extend life. We challenge ourselves and each other to make tomorrow better than yesterday. Join us to make a lasting impact. We are looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join the Process and Equipment Excellence Team. As a part of Strategy and Technology Team - Operations Innovation, you will be delivering strategic manufacturing process performance improvements across the Medtronic manufacturing plant enterprise. You will focus on the development and execution of a manufacturing workflow capacity model to assist manufacturing plants in understanding current and future capacity constraints. The capacity model will be based in zero loss methods (accounts for all time, planned time, and un-planned time), and help manufacturing plants to optimize production output based on management of bottlenecks and constraints. Key deliverables include deploying the existing model across the manufacturing enterprise, identifying continuous improvements for the existing model, and working within the capital planning process to help justify capacity expansion requests.
