About our Endorsement Coordinator position
Assists in the administration of the endorsement process and support direct voter contact efforts for Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates serving Alaska, Hawai’i, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, and Washington.
What will you be doing!
Compiling relevant candidate information, tracks questionnaires, schedules, coordinates endorsement interviews and establishes a system to track past endorsements. Conducts limited candidate research and supports direct voter contact through volunteer recruitment and direct voter engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking candidate filings on State Elections websites
Distributing candidate questionnaires in a timely and organized manner
Assisting in preparing materials for endorsement interviews and PAC meetings.
Facilitating scheduling of candidate interviews.
Tracking candidate fundraising and spending and compiling weekly reports
Tracking candidate events, earned media and digital presence
Supporting the direct voter contact programs through volunteer recruitment and direct voter engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of office experience is preferred.
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office required, experience with the internet and other databases as needed.
The ability to use PCs, conferencing and presentation equipment, as well as telephone equipment is essential.
Use of standard office equipment and ability to move within a standard office setting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team and meet deadlines.
Strong research and writing skills
Knowledge of state and local politics a plus
Detail oriented multi-tasker; ability to track multiple points of data, information and materials
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong initiative, self-motivated, and the ability to work under pressure and produce quality work within tight time constraints.
Salary Range:
Non-exempt - $30 per hour.
Position Type:
Temporary – 25 weeks at 20 hours per weeks: including several nights and weekends. Compensation is $30 per hour. Gas and travel reimbursement will be provided for transportation when traveling outside of the Planned Parenthood office.
Benefits Eligibility:
This position is not eligible for PPGNHAIK benefits. Other Information:
All new hires are strongly recommended to have the COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters. All new hires hired between September and April must present proof of receiving a current flu shot.
