Overview:
Reporting into the Director of FP&A, we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst on the FP&A team, at its Corporate Headquarters, who will provide support to the Finance Team and the Retail Stores channel. The Senior Analyst is responsible for developing and driving vineyard vines’ revenue budgets and financial plans, to maximize sales and drive profitability. This position will support financial management efforts with accurate, clear and timely reporting and analysis as required for the monthly close, forecast/budget, and internal reporting. This role will also support sizing the financial impact of various tests executed in the Retail Stores field. The right candidate must be exceptional at managing accuracy within a large database of financial information, possess an entrepreneurial mindset, and display an ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
You Will:
- Support all aspects of the budget and forecast for the Retail Store’s Channel, including regular communication with business unit leaders to form forecast/budget assumptions, deep dive cost benefit / ROI analysis, applied analytics for accurate forecasting, and concise summary reporting for senior management.
- Analyze expense versus budget and forecast on a monthly basis, identifying areas of risk and opportunity and presenting those findings to senior management.
- Assist in the upgrade of reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement and liaison with the various business departments.
- Communicate financial results, projections, and action plans to management and cross functional team on a weekly basis
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Size the financial impact of various tests executed in the retail stores field
- Perform various analytical ad hoc projects to help drive business strategy.
What you bring:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of Retail, Corporate Finance, or related fields
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, able to multitask and build reports from the ground up with little direction
- Must be very proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
- Interest and experience in an e-commerce or retail business with a focus on omni-channel retail
- Knowledge and experience with analyzing large data sets
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Team focused, confident, and professional
- Accuracy and attention to detail
