This position is hiring on First shift (5:00am-3:30pm), on Rotating Crew Schedule.

 

If hired for this position, you will be eligible for a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings). You will be paid the $2,000.00 during your first pay period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Operates Assembly, Ultrasonic Welding, Gluing, Pad Printing, Laser Marker and Laser Weld equipment in accordance with work instructions and completes setup forms. 
  • Inspects and verifies tools and fixtures issued to the work order are available, correct and in good repair. 
  • Responsible for accessing and following packaging instructions and work instructions from PLM and Document management systems based on product structure requirements. 
  • Performs manual device assembly using various joining processes including testing and inspection. 
  • Prints and applies Tags using printers for Work In Process (WIP) material.  
  • Verifies tags on all kitted materials and ensures tag information matches work order BOM.  
  • Ensures the DHR (Device History Record) is complete and accurate, including all approvals, prior to forwarding the Work Order kit for further processing. 
  • Promptly notifies area Coordinators and/or Supervisor of any physical inventory discrepancies, ERP and/or manufacturing systems errors or omissions, mislabeled components, missing components or other inventory anomalies.

  • Performs AQL inspection in accordance with stated inspection criteria. 
  • Provides input for new products, processes, and fixture development.   
  • Ensures all departmental procedures and proper Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Good Document Practices (GDP) are followed. 
  • Promotes a safe work environment including the use of PPE when required.  Communicates issues to management that could result in process delays and/or safety issues. 
  • Adhere to all Quality System Requirements. 

 

Knowledge

Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.

 

Reasoning Ability

Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

 

Discretion/ Latitude

Work is closely supervised.  Follows specific, detailed instructions. 

 

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office required.
  • Basic knowledge of visual inspection, part handling, component assembly, barcode scanning, and label printing required.
  • Perform written tasks by reading, understanding and following work instructions provided.
  • Basic ability to load parts into and operate Laser/EDM equipment. 
  • Proficient with measuring equipment and instruments. 
  • Ability to navigate SAP, Agile and Documentum systems with assistance.
  • Must accurately transact Production work order data into ERP and other manufacturing systems.
  • Must complete equipment setup sheets accurately and completely. 
  • Performs manual device assembly.
  • Inspects process output.
  • Proper use of Good Documentation Practice (GMP)
  • Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), as required
  • Ability to work independently when necessary.

 

Education/ Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Six months of machine operating experience preferred.
