Description
Cornerstone Endodontics is seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager to oversee and enhance the daily operations of our specialty endodontic practice in Birmingham, Alabama.
This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring operational efficiency, supporting financial goals, leading a collaborative and high-performing team, and strengthening referral relationships. Responsibilities
- Lead by example to build and maintain a supportive, high-achieving team culture.
- Champion outstanding patient experiences, strong employee engagement, and provider satisfaction.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow efficiency.
- Create, implement, and uphold practice policies and procedures.
- Develop staffing schedules aligned with patient volume and business needs.
- Become a subject matter expert in our practice management system (e.g., EndoVision).
- Partner with Human Resources for recruiting, onboarding, staff development, performance reviews, and other personnel needs.
- Train and coach team members in coordination with the Regional Director and HR support.
- Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and vendor coordination in partnership with procurement.
- Manage invoices and contribute to financial planning and budget oversight.
- Work alongside the Revenue Cycle team to help meet reimbursement targets.
- Support the credentialing process by gathering physician documentation as required.
- Represent the practice within the local community and build strong referral relationships.
- Ensure the clinic is consistently clean, organized, and professionally presented.
- Plan and facilitate regular team meetings and attend manager roundtables and trainings.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to ensure the success of the practice.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in team management and cultivating a positive workplace culture.
- At least 2 years of healthcare or dental practice management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Familiarity with practice management systems such as EndoVision is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
