About the Role

As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives. Working with a dedicated team of professionals, you will provide high-quality clinical services to patients in substance abuse treatment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to create personalized treatment plans
• Implementing evidence-based approaches, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and harm reduction strategies
• Collaborating effectively with the care team to ensure the highest standard of patient care
• Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient backgrounds

Requirements

Qualifications

We’re looking for a dedicated professional with the following:

• Licensure: Current Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) credential in North Dakota
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience: Proven experience in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment
• Skills: Strong proficiency in individual and group counseling, evaluations, assessments, and knowledge of MAT and harm reduction approaches
• Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Adherence to a drug-free workplace policy, including pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
