About the role

BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government-compliant back-office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space. Our consultants are experts in the areas of Accounting, Contracts, Human Resources, Recruiting & Sourcing, and Strategic Pricing and our passion is to guide and propel our partners towards success within this competitive sector.

BOOST is partnering with a cleared small business that provides mission-critical, AI-driven cyber defense and reverse engineering solutions for U.S. Government clients to hire a Senior Secure Enclave Architect. This opportunity is 100% onsite located in the Northern Virginia area.

Position Summary:

As a Principal Cybersecurity Architect – Enclave Systems you will design, implement, and sustain advanced enclave infrastructures, applying zero-trust security controls and cross-domain solutions (CDS) in support of highly classified, AI-driven cyber operations. You will own the technical roadmap for enclave modernization, lead risk-management initiatives, and shepherd systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to Authority to Operate (ATO). Operating with a mission-first, people-always mindset and zero tolerance for mission failure, you will ensure these enclaves deliver uncompromising security, resilience, and mission-aligned performance under the highest levels of classified oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect secure, software-defined enclaves using zero-trust principles, micro-segmentation, and Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP) technologies.

  • Design enclave environments with a focus on data provenance, identity assurance, and fine-grained access controls.

  • Integrate cross-domain solutions and trusted gateway appliances while incorporating enterprise key management and developing comprehensive data flow and accreditation documentation.

  • Develop and maintain hardened baselines for compute, storage, networking, and container platforms, adhering to DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and other authoritative guidance.

  • Create and manage RMF documentation including the System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), in collaboration with ISSMs, ISSOs, and Authorizing Officials to obtain and maintain ATO.

  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and related tools to automate enclave provisioning, patching, and compliance enforcement via CI/CD pipelines.

  • Design and deploy robust telemetry and incident response mechanisms, integrating SIEM and SOAR platforms to ensure comprehensive visibility and rapid response within isolated environments.

  • Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling, providing actionable recommendations for compensating controls and remediation strategies.

  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering expertise in enclave operations, RMF compliance, and secure configuration management.

  • Brief senior mission stakeholders on enclave readiness, risk posture, and modernization opportunities, translating complex technical information into strategic insight.
