SUMMARY OF DUTIES

As an Adult Protective Services Supervisor you will:

Direct and supervise employees and programs in a team environment. The employees supervised by this position provide adult protective services within Washington County. This position also utilizes detailed knowledge of local community resources to maximize effective service delivery for clients and to integrate APD programs in the community. This position uses program and technical knowledge and skills and abilities to plan, organize, and monitor the operations of a team of employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;
OR
One year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or human services.

  • Experience using trauma-informed de-escalation tactics in response to time sensitive or tense situations to guide peaceful resolutions to disputes or perceived disputes.
