POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for delivering highly visible inbound and outbound EDI projects for the data operations team at Allied. This includes playing a key role in the implementation of new trading partners; configuration of inbound and outbound ANSI X12-834 eligibility files and standard and custom data extracts, maintenance of existing trading partner files, and resolving existing trading partner file issues.

Technology platforms for project delivery: QicLink (system or record), new data integrations tools which include support client eligibility (ANSI X12-834 file format). This includes EDI mapping using internal testing and validation tools, etc. This role requires in-depth knowledge of eligibility data exchange, expert knowledge of ANSI X12-834 file format and reading/understanding file spec/requirement documentation

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead DM projects; including project initiation, project timelines, leading and/or attending project meetings, internal resource coordination, and on-going communications with vendors and internal Allied parties
    • 834 file implementations: Ensure smooth implementations and proper project oversight. 
    • Other as required
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for 834 questions, implementations, and project-related updates internally and externally.
  • Easily maneuver through 834 formatted files, complete data mapping, provide file testing support, and troubleshooting of the same.
  • Leverage internal tools built for running several tests on new files, cataloging for the single source of truth for all groups and vendor partners.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with customer service, account management, and vendor/client contacts to resolve data discrepancy issues
  • Reviews eligibility audit reports and other reporting mechanisms to monitor file processing status and performance of the new EDI implementations. 
  • Coordinates with internal teams to assure implementation timelines are being met
  • Troubleshoots and escalates issues with internal and external partners  
  • Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by Data Operations leadership

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 3-5 years related experience with a focus on inbound/outbound X12 834 EDI file format
  • 5 years expert experience with X12-834 electronic data interchange (EDI).
  • Experience leading and coordinating projects is required
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
