As a Director, Partner Enablement, you will be supporting our Digital Merchant Acquisition partners for SMB product strategy and programs in Merchant Services. The role will evaluate market forecast and long-term trends, collect competitive intelligence, drive cross-functional business processes, and maintain business model innovation.  The role will actively engage with our Partners, Product Management and Technology to ensure the success of priority business initiatives. The ideal candidate has an appetite for continuous learning and drive for excellence in all deliverables

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage multiple partner enablement initiatives, ensuring accountability and alignment with project timelines and objectives.

  • Develop / establish influence through partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Combine visual and narrative techniques to effectively communicate
    program updates and insights.

  • Working cross functionally to identify optimal business development, sales, commercialization, implementation framework / operating model to drive faster growth of key products.

  • Building robust business cases, market intelligence, etc. to help the team identify emerging trends and prioritize opportunities and key initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain timely, relevant business / market intelligence and product KPI reporting.

  • Managing / owning key strategic initiatives and products as assigned.

  • Leveraging data and analytics to prioritize investments and track performance.

Critical Skills

  • Strategic Leadership - This successful candidate will be able to provide quality recommendations for problems that might not even be defined, by understanding and analyzing complex issues

  • Client Focus – The position holder will understand that the Business Leaders are their clients. This person must be able to manage expectations and lead a team to drive results while working with very demanding stakeholders.

  • Collaboration & Influencing - This person must utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels

Experience Needed:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, MBA or related field is strongly preferred

  • 7+ years’ experience, with significant specific experience across Product Management, Partner Relationships, Project Management or Product Delivery

  • 5+ years within the payment or financial services space, with proven experience being client or partner facing

  • Ability to synthesize complex data to deliver recommendations at executive levels

  • Ability to work and influence in a complex cross functional environment

  • Outstanding presentation, influencing and communication abilities, to work across both business and technical teams

  • Entrepreneurial / strategic mindset and demonstrable experience building and transforming a businesses and its products.

  • Detail-oriented, with proven ability to drive deliverable outcomes with speed, while being open and responsive to direct feedback.

Travel: Up to 30%
