Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to attract, hire, and integrate top talent into our hospitality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, be bilingual (English/Spanish), and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include developing and executing recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, and facilitating a seamless onboarding process. This role requires close collaboration with department managers, maintaining accurate recruitment records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and make hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
• Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
• Proven experience in recruiting and onboarding, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with team members.
• Proficient in using recruitment software and HRIS systems, specifically Paylocity.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
