About the role

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a leading statewide commercial service provider delivering high-quality plumbing and electrical solutions across a wide range of commercial service projects.  We are currently seeking a Lead Plumbing Parts Material Handler to manage the receiving, organization, and distribution of commercial construction materials. 


This role is critical to supporting our service and construction teams by ensuring the right materials are available when and where they are needed. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 


Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute MEP materials, tools, and equipment within a warehouse environment
  • Verify incoming and outgoing MEP inventory and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Communicate plumbing and construction inventory levels with the purchasing department
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment
  • Perform regular inventory counts and restock materials as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
  • Support Pro Desk operations by preparing materials for technician pickup and coordinating with operational teams
  • Utilize commercial plumbing product knowledge to identify and locate the correct parts and materials for internal teams
  • Collaborate with team members or work independently to meet operational needs
  • Assist with additional duties and projects to support department operations as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience handling MEP materials, preferably in a commercial construction warehouse, Pro Desk, or contractor supply environment
  • Strong product knowledge of commercial plumbing materials, tools, and supplies
  • Ability to identify, organize, and stage plumbing parts and materials for service technicians and construction teams
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for cell phone communication, internal messaging, and email coordination
