The Team and Role:

Corporate FP&A is an outstanding place to start your career and learn about finance in a fast paced collaborative environment. You will be part of a global team with the opportunity to learn core FP&A competencies, while also getting exposure to areas such as P&L management, cash flow, and financial systems.

The Financial Analyst Intern is responsible for supporting the Global Opex FP&A team in streamlining and automating processes, performing core financial analysis of operating expenses, and supporting Corporate FP&A for ad hoc analyses.

• Assist in preparation of quarterly reporting packages, analyze trends, drivers, variances and identify both risks and opportunities with insights.

• Assist in AOP/Forecast templates and processes continuous improvement

• Support Corporate digital transformation projects with AI/BI solutions

• Enhance and automate the comprehensive trackers and Opex analysis to stakeholders

• Provide timely financial support to business teams

• Build strong relationships and foster teamwork within business groups, overall finance, and Corporate supporting functions (P&C, Procurement, IT etc.)

• Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus on quality

• Experience in managing large amounts of financial data with the highest degree of accuracy

• Experience working independently, and fixing complex problems excites you

• Strong communication skills, being open and honest if you face roadblocks while also thinking through potential solutions

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers

• Excel power user with advanced skill in formulas, strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Google Doc

• Professional, articulate, diligent, hardworking, curious, and self-motivated.

• A passion for problem-solving, identifying trends and turning confusion into comprehension

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Excel, google sheets, and google docs experience

• Experience in Tableau or other BI systems, database relationship structure knowledge highly recommended

• Knowledge of AI tools and capabilities

Education:

• Junior/Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitatively-focused discipline

This position offers an hourly rate typically between $29.00 hourly- $30.00 hourly commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled.
