Job Description Summary:

We seek an experienced Senior Director of Data Products and Engineering. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines, data solutions/products, and overall end-to-end data architecture. The successful candidate will also lead a team of data engineers and architects to ensure the company's data infrastructure is scalable, reliable, secure, and supports the business's analytics and reporting needs.

What You’ll Do for Us

In this role, your primary focus will be on turning strategic visions into reality through meticulous execution and management of our data strategy in alignment with the company's goals.  

• Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate the technical vision for development projects, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc. brokering trade-offs with stakeholders, and understanding their needs
• Drive the hands-on creation and orchestration of cloud-based data solutions and architectures, vigilantly managing these processes to secure data and guarantee compliance with all regulatory standards. 
• Technical Solution Ownership: Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of technology solutions
• Take command of constructing and deploying robust, scalable, and secure data infrastructures. Execute Master Data Management (MDM) and Governance initiatives to guarantee data precision and uniformity across all levels of the organization. 
• Provide technical oversight to end-to-end architecture (approve use of front and backend languages and tech stack, accelerate the ramp-up by providing TCCC best practices/templates around DataOps, semantic modeling, , CI/CD pipelines, etc. Ensure the team adheres to TCCC engineering standards
• Act as a critical liaison between technical and non-technical teams, simplifying complex concepts and fostering data-driven decision-making. Convert business requirements into actionable product roadmap and releases. 
• Experience in Agile development including Scrum and lean techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Experience executing strategy, innovation, and architecting data projects and products.
• Strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and experience with MDM implementation.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading and inspiring high-performing teams.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts understandably.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to mentor and grow talent.
• Experience building solutions for regulatory reporting is preferred.

Pay Range:

$177,100 - $205,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
