A broad role, you will lead clinical services delivery across our Medical and Critical Care Wards including Dialysis, Cardiac/CCU, Neuro, Rehab, ICU, Oncology/Haematology, Respiratory and Emergency – encompassing over 200 beds.
Working with your skilled and experienced team of Clinical Nurse Managers, you'll support the Director of Clinical Services with the coordination and development of care delivery services, as well as the effective management of The Wesley’s people, resources and strategic planning.
As a senior leader within The Wesley Hospital you'll be responsible for achieving excellence in customer service through continuous improvement of clinical services and care delivery in line with technological advancements, clinical trends and professional standards of nursing practice.
As an experienced leader, you'll be a confident and collaborative team-player, driving clinical-performance through a culture of patient-focused care, exceptional service and contemporary industry practice. You'll be an advanced communicator, with an ability to foster mediation through challenging clinical scenarios and manage expectations of stakeholders significant to your role.
What makes a difference for us?
- Extensive senior nursing management experience
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical trends, legislation and emerging challenges
- High level of competency with concepts surrounding continuum of care and case management
- Operational skills, including strong financial and budget management skills, WHS knowledge and risk management
- Proficiency in electronic applications including Cerner, SAP, Trendcare, Kronos and LEM
- Strategic planning skills, including analysis, proposal and implementation phases
