Job Description

WHAT DOES A SENIOR DIRECTOR, PMO DO?

The Senior Director of PMO will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all digital projects within our studio. This role will lead our Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital transformation, design systems, and modularized content delivery, along with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

PMO Leadership

• Lead and manage the TEDAVI Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure consistent project delivery across all digital initiatives, including websites, interactive visual aids, banners, and email campaigns.
•  Develop and implement project management best practices, methodologies, and standards to streamline processes and ensure efficient delivery within the agency framework.
•   Mentor and coach project managers, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and tools needed to deliver high-quality projects.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring optimal resource allocation, capacity planning, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational processes that align with our modularized design system approach, enabling scalable and repeatable project delivery.
• Continuously assess and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align project management and operational processes with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Drive the strategic planning process for the PMO, identifying key initiatives, setting priorities, and allocating resources accordingly.
• Lead the development and execution of the studio’s operational strategy, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and content, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide regular status updates, performance reports, and strategic insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Design System and Modular Approach

• Champion the use of a modularized design system across all projects, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in digital delivery.
• Oversee the integration of design systems into project workflows, ensuring that all deliverables are aligned with the system’s standards and guidelines.
