About the role:
This role will be on the Finance Transformations team, working as a senior project manager, supporting projects to help the accounting team grow and scale, as well as supporting cross functional projects led by other departments.

In this role, you will:
- Serve as project manager supporting specific departments within the accounting team on all transformational items
- Manage intake of projects/issues, portfolio management for specific departments, multi-month cross functional project management, communication to various stakeholders and change management for all projects within profolio
- Partner with our BizTech teams on the project/ticket inventory, ensuring that all systems related work is completed within the agreed upon timelines for the agreed upon scope, and highlighting any concerns to senior leadership
- Be an expert in excel, able to quickly manipulate and analyze data to facilitate decisions
- Comfortable with Smartsheets or other project management tooling, and comfort building dashboards as needed
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for this role:
- 5+ years experience in a project manager role, ideally within the finance or accounting space
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance, operations or business. MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, high-energy
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce preferred
