The Configuration Management and Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.
The Configuration and Data Management Department is seeking a Principal Configuration Management Specialist, located onsite in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program and represent the functional group in the implementation of common processes.
Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities (including classified support).
Ensures implementation of customer and internal configuration management requirements
Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration management policies.
Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or other related fields
Typically requires 5 years of Configuration Management experience
Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience with technology and computing tools (PDM-Product Data Management, SAP, or similar tools)
Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Solid competency in project planning
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
Identify potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data, regarding configuration management issues, and take corrective action as needed.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
