Examples of duties
This position helps ensure that residents receive consistent, safe, and respectful nursing care in a supportive environment. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
- Health Assessment Support: Assist the RN by checking resident health status and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments, verify pharmacy orders, and maintain accurate records
- Resident Observation: Observe residents for changes or concerns and report findings while documenting daily care activities
- Care Coordination: Work with the RN to help plan and adjust resident care and participate in nursing committees when needed
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure residents are clean, safe, and well groomed while supporting infection control practices
- Specialized Care: Provide focused care for residents in specialty units such as Alzheimer care

Work Hours and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment. 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week.
- Positions are available on the following shifts:
- 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with a 30 minute lunch
- 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with a 30 minute lunch
- 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with a 30 minute lunch
- Rotating days and weekends. Working every other weekend is required.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914.00 (before taxes).
