Schedule: 2:00pm to 10pm (Training will be on 6:00am to 2:00pm shift. Once fully trained, candidate will move to 2:00pm to 10:00pm shift)
Salary: $22.00 Hourly

Summary:
As a Warehouse Operator you are responsible for learning multiple functions within the Warehouse environment including forklift driving, checking, and tote/drum handling. Within these functions various equipment and systems must be used to effectively and safely verify materials, deliver materials (inbound & outbound), and properly manage dunnage in accordance with internal procedures.
Safety:
· Ø Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed
· Ø Completes Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation training and all IATA shipping and receiving certification requirements.
· Ø Follow all site safety rules and procedures; and be an active participant with Axalta safety near miss reporting.
· Ø Completes all required internal and external training related to safety (TLMs)
· Ø Must complete CFR training and maintain certification.
· Ø Participate and support site internal and external safety audits.
· Ø Must be able to operate safely and properly handle high hazard (S-Code) materials for the site.
Quality:
· Ø Active participant with Axalta continuous improvement program (Kaizen Reporting)
· Ø Completes assigned tasks following proper processes to ensure compliance with inventory record accuracy (IRA)
· Ø Supports internal & external audits as necessary.
· Ø Understands proper loading procedures and customer requirements.
· Ø Understand and follows ISO-9001 and TS-16949 standards.
· Ø Practices lean manufacturing standards such as pre-stagging shipments
· Ø Understands customer sales force complaints related to job specific tasks (CAT I – CAT VII; ABC).
Job Functions:
Driver – (6 months training)
· Ø Pick and deliver requested stock to the production floor.
· Ø Unload inbound trailers.
· Ø Use hand-held bar code scanners to relieve and add to plant inventory.
· Very critical to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain customer supply.
· Ø Maintain area safety and housekeeping standards.
· Ø Confirm Transfer Orders for Outbound Deliveries
· Ø Stage loads for shipments
· Ø Load shipment on designated carriers
· Ø Accurately and timely put stock away
· Ø Pallet/Bin consolidation
· Ø Assist with area Cycle Counting
· Ø Empty waste bins
· Ø Supply production with containers, pallets, etc.
· Checker (12 months to train)
· Ø Checks, processes, and clears customers’ orders for shipments.
· Ø Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods in the warehouse
· Ø Receives and examines all incoming and outgoing goods on behalf of the organization.
· Ø Wears safety gear as needed in the warehouse
· Ø Collaborates with the procurement and sales department of the organization to ensure regular availability of goods
· Ø Keeps inventory or record of the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
· Ø Band and shrink wrap drums for shipments.
· Ø When receiving inbound materials must ensure electronic and physical accuracy to maintain proper inventory levels.
· Ø Communicate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders as needed.
· Ø Controls both inbound and outbound trucking logistics with security and the area.
· Ø Assists with area cycle counting.
· Drum/Tote Handler (3 months)
· Ø Procures and delivers drums/totes to manufacturing departments as requested.
· Ø Inventories drums/totes on site
· Ø Receives and unloads drums and totes that arrive on site
· Ø Loading of empty dirty drums/totes on trailers to be removed from the site.
· Ø Communicates with Supply Chain inventory of drums, totes, pails to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
· Ø Accurately scan empty containers so inventory is removed from the electronic system.
· Ø Maintains daily Kanban sheet and communicates across the plant.
· Ø Must be able to lift to 50lbs repeatedly.
· Additional Job Tasks (4 months)
· Ø Maintain and ship FedEx packages for entire site.
· Ø Perform weekly cycle count tasks.
· Ø Support movement of materials to and from offsite warehouse.
