Job Description
The Visa Global Clients team is looking for an initiative-taking Senior Sales Lead to harmonize and bring together a clear working model and approach to sales that secures new and existing business of global corporations, and their commercial payment needs. This individual would work closely with regional sales leads to bring forward a cohesive narrative on individual deals as well as emerging opportunities. This individual will also be responsible to deliver insightful experiences across the entire B2B payments ecosystem i.e., merchants, issuers, acquirers, and technology platforms to our client base.
You will be joining a high-performing, global team that is accelerating the growth of our client’s business to business payments.
Responsibilities:
- Support short and long-term sales pipeline planning on a global basis for net new wins as well as retentions. Ensure that business plans adhere to Visa’s mission statement of increasing clients' profitability, strengthening the partnership within them, and agreeing with Visa Inc. overall strategy
- Focus on strong industry expertise on B2B and Commercial client growth.
- Responsible for actively calling on clients in partnership with Relationship Managers (RM) to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to, and anticipating future needs, challenges, or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI’s value proposition
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Visa, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- Support a multi-year sales and growth strategy around the expansion of B2B payments globally and do so in alignment with the regional product and country managers.
- Identify new business opportunities for Visa solutions across different customer segments globally
- View new business opportunities, analyzing client's profiles, products' profile as well as their strategic moments, with the purpose of offering adequate products to the needs of the partners and increasing their business volume with Visa
- Work with client teams on ways to maximize profitability by offering advice on the development of target markets, product development, advertising, marketing, and product mix
- Increase the participation of VISA in the way of payment business through the expansion into new markets, prospects, and other companies
- Monitor the competitors' activities, fusions, acquisitions
- Maintain close contact with all Visa's areas to search for solutions for the most critical problems, as well as to follow best practices that could be applied to the clients and the market
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
