A Day in the Life

This is a dynamic Project Coordinator role supporting the VP & Chief Medical Officer and VP of Medical Affairs for the global Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Clinical and Medical Affairs organization.

The CRM Operating Unit (OU) is the longest standing business within Medtronic that aims to help patients with heart rhythm disturbances. The Clinical & Medical Affairs organization is a global team of over 200 individuals focused on generating evidence, educating and building strong scientific relationships with health care professionals. This role will report directly to the CRM Chief Medical Officer/VP of Medical Affairs to drive and support the daily operational activities of the CRM Clinical & Medical Affairs Leadership Team and organization. The position will afford extensive exposure to the CRM OU senior-level staff, interactions with customers and the broader OU organization.

This is a flexible work-based role that works onsite based in the Twin Cities or the Memphis area.

A Day in the Life:

  • Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the daily operational needs of the CRM Clinical & Medical Affairs organization and leadership team

  • Provides support to the CRM VP & Chief Medical Officer and the VP of Medical Affairs for CRM

  • Provides project coordination with the organizational leaders, HR partner and finance partner for CRM Clinical & Medical Affairs

  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders including customers and physician partners.

  • Organizes, attends, participates in, and sends follow-up communications for team meetings

  • Provides support in preparing presentation materials and maintains project documentation

  • Monitors and communicates the status of projects

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6 years of experience

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in customer facing roles

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team-based environment

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$62,400.00 - $93,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
