Job Description:

​​Powder River Correctional Facility is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill their Institution Security Manager (Correctional Institution Manger 1) vacancy. This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates. The successful candidate will become part of the Department's management team. This position provides direction on critical safety and security priorities to institution staff of the institution's physical custody of Adults in Custody (AIC) to assure institutional security, public safety, and safe and humane conditions for AICs and staff.

About the Facility:

​​Powder River Correctional Facility (WCCF) is a minimum-security facility located in Baker City, Oregon. AICs work on the institution site and on outside crews. Programs and services include host agency crews, contact crews, fire crews, education, transition programs, work assignments, and religious services.

This position is management services and may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.

Minimum Qualifications

Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience.
