Temporary Human Resources Coordinator

This position will collaborate and support the HR team.  The Temporary Human Resource Coordinator must be a self-starter and be prepared for hands-on exposure to many functions of the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will take quick direction, show initiative, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

•                     Prepare welcome packets, announcements, onboarding schedules, communication and desk set up for new hires.

•                     Maintain personnel records and files as needed. 

•                     Update and manage Tumi Express HR Page.

•                     Assist with generating HR letters, such as reference letters, terminations, furloughs, and job abandonment.

•                     Assist with updating job descriptions as needed. 

•                     Assists with planning and execution of corporate events.

•                     Assist with employee anniversary schedule, cards and gifts.

•                     Assist with philanthropy efforts and programs. 

•                     Assist with training as needed. 

•                     Partner with the Social Committee and draft communication as needed. 

•                     Special projects to support the HR department as needed.

•                     Back up the receptionist as needed.

 

 

•                     0-1 years minimum HR related experience.

•                     Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with internet use and research.

•                     Exceptional communication skills.

•                     Must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.

•                     Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.

•                     Ability to partner across various levels of the organization and retail field.
