About you and this role
As a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician supporting the Gulf Coast Pipeline group, you will provide craft-specific maintenance support for plant operations, maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical equipment based on your technical expertise. You will collaborate with the maintenance, operations, and project teams to enhance reliability across all operational facilities in the Atchafalaya area, which spans from Hahnville, LA to the Texas Boarder. You will perform diverse work assignments and serve as an informal resource for less experienced team members. This role requires full proficiency in various technical, operational, and analytical/scientific procedures, gained through job-related training and substantial on-the-job experience.
This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.
Responsibilities
Enable team members to carry out their responsibilities effectively and efficiently by providing the necessary tools and information.
Act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Diagnose and correct equipment problems.
Assist in planning, prioritization, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator, and operations input.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions and document failure analysis.
Work within established Maintenance Work Processes and help resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work.
Create, develop, change, and update job procedures and checklists, and initiate procedure management of change (MOC’s).
Technical Support for scope development and execution of outages, and projects.
Qualifications
A minimum of a High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent is required.
A minimum of 5 years of electrical, or electrical related experience is required.
A current, valid U.S. driver’s license is required for this position.
