Waste Cart Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a company-provided cart to navigate the American Airlines maintenance hangars, covering a large area of several hundred acres.
• Regularly collect trash bins and cardboard waste from designated locations across the facility.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling waste materials.
• Safely transport collected waste to designated disposal areas within the base.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and associated equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding waste collection schedules and any issues encountered during daily operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a cart safely and efficiently across various terrains.
• Physical ability to lift waste materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Prior experience in waste management or similar field preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Pay Rate: $14-$14.50/hr
