Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.  Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.

Requirements: Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am.  Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for hatchery security by performing all essential duties.  Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitoring incubator’s/Hatcher’s and Egg rooms by hourly temperature/humidity checks, making sure incubator program starts when it is suppose too on Wednesday’s and record readings and report any issues immediately.

Performs the following duties related to hatch preparation:  dispenses formaldehyde per schedule, fumigates specified areas of facility as required, clean, setup, and operate tray washer, operate high pressure washer to clean hatcher’s and hatcher room’s and disinfect. Taking pedigree egg inventory on Saturday nights. Push egg racks to egg driver
