Design Associate, Women’s Outlet Bags

Primary Purpose: As the Design Associate, Women’s Outlet Bags, you will contribute to the collaborative design process for the Outlet handbags category, partnering closely with the entire team from concept through development.
 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Design to...

• Strong hand sketch skill. Must be able to communicate ideas through thumbnail sketches, and final HB/SLGs sketches for presentation boards. Create sketches both by hand and Adobe Illustrator and assist in design cards.
• Participate in in-depth research and development of seasonal trends including silhouettes, materials and hardware.
• Brainstorm new ideas and new concepts every season with design leads.
• Complete hardware cards, samples, and ensuring the coordination of raw materials for sample development.
• Work with teams to coordinate seasonal concepts, materials, and hardware.
• Uphold design integrity throughout the entire development process from concept through engineering and commercialization.
• Organize presentation boards and assist in the preparation of meetings.
• Adhere to all timelines and ensure all design cards are completed accurately throughout the process, including all changes then delivered to Tech Design in a timely manner; ensure all prototypes are available for product presentation.
• Partner with cross-functional partners throughout the product development process.
• Partner with apprentice to organize prototypes and samples
