Job Summary

Under the immediate supervision of a Registered Nurses assists in providing basic nursing care to a group of patients. Provides clerical, secretarial and housekeeping support in a designated unit.

Pay Range

Minimum $21.00 Midpoint $21.00 Maximum $22.00

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Clinical work experience in a healthcare environment or completion of CNA training or EMT training or Medical Assistant training or student nurse who has completed at least one (1) quarter or semester of clinical experience

Education:

• High School diploma or Equivalent

Special Skills:

• Ability to operate a computer
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to follow computer downtime procedures
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and meet all expectations for the completion of assigned roles
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to consistently function in an environment that includes varying unpredictable or crises situations

Licensure:

• Basic Life Support
