 Schedule: August: Monday-Thursday 2pm-8pm / School Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-8pm

 Location: Springfield, Oregon

Client Bio:

This member enjoys outings such as going to the park and dining out. A caregiver with experience supporting individuals with seizures is required. The member’s daughter is a selective eater, so patience around mealtimes is important. The member needs daily assistance with room cleaning and personal hygiene support, including cues to ensure thorough cleaning after bathroom use.

During moments of emotional distress, it is best to allow the member space, as attempts to intervene too quickly may escalate behaviors. The member has sensory sensitivities, particularly to textures, and does not currently take ADHD medication due to difficulty swallowing pills. At times, self-harming behaviors may occur, especially when the member feels treated in a parental or authoritative manner.

The member may attempt to leave the area without permission, so close supervision is necessary. Common triggers include lack of sleep. The caregiver should be calm, non-confrontational, and skilled in maintaining safety while supporting independence.
