IT Network & Datacenter Support Engineer (m/f/d)

TecAlliance interconnects global automotive aftermarket data and knowledge from order to invoice. With over 900 colleagues working in 140 countries, we are owned by 34 automotive companies like Bosch, Continental, Rheinmetall, and ZF. We act as an information hub and process facilitator for them, ensuring standardized processes that help clients save costs (process and indirect costs) and time through efficient processes enabled by our software.

You will be part of a global team of 11 experts located in Mexico, Europe, and Vietnam. Together, we manage local datacenter topics and global AWS/Azure cloud environments. He has been with TecAlliance for 22 years and is now seeking an expert (m/f/d) who can provide comprehensive, inside-out feedback on operations and areas for improvement. He is genuinely looking forward to your insights on how to enhance performance.

This role combines network support with general daily datacenter operations, offering a dynamic and diverse technical environment.  

What You’ll Do:

• Support and troubleshoot 
• Monitor (cisco) network performance and keep everything running smoothly
• On Site Support (in Heerlen) for employees 
• Handle (first level support) in daily datacenter tasks such as:
  • Server Management
  • Hypervisor Management 
  • Storage Management 
  • Monitoring 
  • Backup & Recovery 

Your profile:

• Profound experience in a similiar job in Network Support & Daily Datacenter Operations
• Relevant background in IT (i.e.  MBO4, CCNA certification) or similiar education/apprenticeship/trainings/certification within IT
• In-depth Cisco Network experience with the entire suite (such as Any Connect, Firepower, Catalyst, ISE)
• At best, general first support knowledge of the below mentioned
  • Windows Administration
  • VMwareAdministration
  • NetApp Administration
  • CheckMK Administration
  • Veeam Administration

• English (C1); Dutch is a strong plus

Location-independency/flexibility:

💯 Hybrid Remote: this position requires working in the office a minimum of 1 day per week at our site in Heerlen. The other days, in agreement with your team, can be worked from home. During onboarding, you´ll likely be on-site more to ensure that both your onboarding goes well and also to take care of Firmware updates. 

🚀 Structured Onboarding: you receive an individual onboarding plan, have multiple onboarding days in the beginning, and a wealth of e-learning, training, and documentation besides your team at your disposal

👩‍💻 Set-up: notebook, headset and mouse will be provided, other equipment upon request/need
